Job Description


The ideal candidate will be a proactive and motivated construction professional with previous experience working on commercial construction and any self-perform (steel, concrete, carpentry). You will be responsible for assisting the project manager and construction team with project documentation and control, job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts. In order to be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills and appropriately prioritizing those tasks' completion. 


Responsibilities

·       Assist with on-site management to ensure project success

·       Responsible for working alongside the project manager on a portfolio of high-profile construction projects with self-perform work

·       Ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines

·       Responsible for design review, budget allocation, subcontract hiring, contract negotiation, and schedule definition

·       Team management


Qualifications

·       Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience

·       0-4 years of experience working in commercial construction as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager

·       Able to problem-solve autonomously and interested in career progression
