Meet the MBA Team

OWNER AND PRESIDENT

STEVEN BODNER

Steve, third-generation company president, is carrying on the family tradition. After graduating from Vanderbilt University’s Civil Engineering School in 1979, Steve dove into the commercial real estate business by developing retail centers and multifamily properties. After a calculated shift in the 1990s, SC Bodner now exclusively focuses on the development of best-of-class apartment communities across the Midwest, Southwest, and Southeast regions.

Bernie Tuggle

Chief Financial Officer

Prior to joining SC Bodner, Bernie spent 25 years in commercial banking with The Northern Trust Company, Fifth Third Bank and US Bank. During his banking career, he focused exclusively on Commercial Real Estate lending and loan workouts. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Chicago, Bernie has overall responsibility for the financial and operating aspects of the SC Bodner Company business.
